About the Editors-in-Chief
- Jess Lee is an emerging scholar and poet from Vancouver, Canada, and an incoming graduate student in the MSt in English Literature (1550–1700) at the University of Oxford. He recently completed his BA in English Literature at the University of British Columbia. His current research focuses on early modern poetry, with particular interests in the interpretation of words and symbols, emotion, affect theory, and queer theory. As editor-in-chief of Between Time and Text, he is dedicated to supporting the publication of early modern scholarship and contemporary poetry.
- CJ McGillivray is an emerging scholar and interdisciplinary artist from Vancouver, Canada. She is an incoming graduate student in the MA English Literature program at the University of Leeds and she recently completed her undergraduate degree in Honours English Literature at the University of British Columbia. She also holds a diploma in Acting for Stage and Screen from Capilano University. Her current research interests include early modern drama, embodied analysis and conceptual metaphor theory. As founder of Between Time and Text and the UBC Undergraduate Shakespeare Conference, she is incredibly passionate about inclusive research and collaboration.
About the Editorial Team
- Poetry Editor: Jeff Oro is an emerging contemporary poet and student at the University of British Columbia. His works have been featured in multiple literary zines and journals including The Liar at Capilano University and The Garden Statuary at the University of British Columbia. His poems encompass a wide range of themes such as love, loss, spirituality, masculinity, resistance, healing, and change. His debut chapbook, Knowing Bodies & No One At All, is currently available for purchase online as a print book or ebook.
